About Sisters, Oregon
Sisters is a small town east of the Cascade Mountains in Oregon. It’s about 3 hours driving from Portland and 30 minutes northwest of Bend.
Our rehearsal dinner will be in downtown Sisters and our wedding will be held at a friend’s home in the Deer Ridge neighborhood, a ~10 minute drive to the North.
Getting to Sisters by Plane
1) Fly into Portland (PDX)
This will generally be the cheaper flight option, but you will need to find transportation to Sisters (~3-hour drive). It’s likely easiest to rent a car, although Pacific Crest Bus Lines also offers a route from the Portland airport to Sisters.
2) Fly into Redmond (RDM)
This is often a more expensive plane ticket, but you will be within a 30-minute drive to the venue.
**Please consider that while Uber/Lyft will likely be available from the Redmond airport to Sisters, they are not always available to get back to the airport from Sisters. 541 Airport Shuttle and EnviroShuttle are two local services that will let you reserve rides to and from the airport.

Other hotels in Sisters include the Best Western Ponderosa Lodge, The Scout Cottages, and the Ski Inn.
Rentals: If you prefer to rent a vacation home, there are a number of options in the Sisters area. You can also consider renting in Black Butte, which is a vacation resort ~10 minutes West of Sisters. Bend is also a 20- to 30-minute drive from Sisters.
Camping: Creekside Campground is located in Sisters and offers tent sites ($30/night) and RV/camper sites ($30-60/night). Reservations for 2026 become available on January 2nd.
